Plasteel® is a proprietary, ultra lightweight, hydrogen-rich nanocomposite developed primarily to protect sensitive electronics from operational effects and the cumulative long-term damage and harmful effects caused by protons, neutrons, electrons, and heavy ions.
It has been optimized for shielding against radiation from both primary and secondary components of Trapped Particles, Solar Energetic Particles, and Galactic Cosmic Rays.
